What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Mississippi
My son and ex-wife are giving my husband and I full custody of their three monor children. I am looking online for a form they can sign, that I can have notarized, and then file with the court. It is a voluntary relinquishment, done in the best interests of the children. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Are you speaking of a guardianship or actually they giving up all parental rights, now and forever?

If the first, you should really speak with an attorney just to make sure you and the parents are clear as to what rights anybody has and to be sure things are done correctly.

if the latter; there is not simple form to do this. It HAS to go through the courts. You are speaking about an adoption and you cannot adopt the children without the courts approval. You definitely need to speak with an attorney if this is your intent.

The "form" you are talking about would be and "adoption" (much more than just a form). If you are interested in ADOPTING the children, see an attorney.

If not, then you are looking to be GUARDIANs to the children.

Again - talk to an attorney.
