What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York

I recently signed a "roommate agreement form" with a girl, but now does not want her to move in. She threatens to sue me. However, I never cashed her check and has been sincere with finding an alternative for her. At the same time, I also gave her more than 30 days of notice of the termination of the contract. Can she still sue me? How do I protect myself?

What does "but now does not want her to move in." mean?

I assume you mean YOU backed out?

Was this a month to month agreement? Or were dates involved?

If dated, was there a cancellation clause?

What exactly does this girl want? Money or to be let in to live?
