being sued by collection agency

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA.
I recently was handed a summons to report to small claims court next week. I am being sued by a collection agency that apparently bought my defaulted credit card account from the credit card company. The amount I owe the CC company is not more than $1000.If I don't go to court (can't afford to miss work), what will happen? Will I be arrested? Can they take my belongings?

A default judgment will be entered against you for the full amount they are claiming.

Will I be arrested?

No.

Can they take my belongings?

Yes. They will be able to use legal processes to seize/levy your non-exempt assets.
