What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
Hello all, I am a U.S. citizen ,Unmarried, and I have a 17 month old son who was born in Ensenada Baja, Mexico, he is now a "U.S. citizen born abroad" and has U.S. Passport. But has not been here yet. His mother is a Mexican citizen who does not have a U.S. visitors visa or anyway to come to the U.S. Her and I just ended a 4 year relationship, and now it is getting ugly. I live in Los Angeles California and split my time in Ensenada, she is now threatening to not let me see my son,and not letting him come to the U.S. to meet his Grandparents, and lastly is talking about court ordered child support.I want to have visitation and I of course want to pay for my son, My question is this, can she keep me from seeing him and what should I expect from the Courts, or should I file for custody now? Thank You
