What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? AZ

I haven't talked directly to my lawyer yet, we are playing phone tag, but I am going crazy without answers, so if anyone could give more advice then on the previous post that would be great.

I scratched my husband due to the fact that he would not let me go. I am the one who called the cops and I am the one who was arrested. I called because I was scared it was going to get taken further than it already had. Does it even matter that I am the one who called them in the first place?

My husband and I have never became physical with one another until this last fight, can it help my case that we are going to marriage counseling? Yes I know its pathetic it took a physical fight to get us to go.

I offically found out there was no restraining order what so ever and my husband informed me today he did not want to testify. He isn't scared or was not bulled into not wanting to testify (i mean come on his 6'1 230lbs and im
5'2 107lbs, i couldnt bully him if I wanted to) So is there a way he wouldn't have to testify even though he is a big link to the case?

I know my actions were unexcusable and even though I may think me being the one to get arrested is completely ridicilous, I know I was at fault and now i have to deal with the consquences but my biggest fear is going to jail. What is the chance I will be incarsanated(sp)?

I later found out my husband knew one of the officers and has even often chatted w/him at work. Is it possible this one a factor in me being the one to get arrested or is it just because there was physical evidence of my husbands injury(the strach)

If someone could answer these questions it would be great. THANK YOU!

okay. you owe me some paper towels. i just saw your sig!!!!LOL

OP, you really didn't have to open a new thread.
I am not responsible for the funnies provided by others.

OP, seriously, hon - your attorney is really the only one who knows your case and your specifics well enough to ease your concerns; if anyone here were to second guess him/her it would be letting down both you and the site. Y'know? It would be very easy to give you an easy yes, no, maybe or whatever, but it wouldn't be doing you justice.
