What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? texas
i have had my daughter for 2 years now and still paying child support. (the mother gives me my money back) the mother has called the attorney generals office and closed the case but they say payments will continue until there is a court order to stop. seems pretty simple when i have the mother in agreement with me. just cant afford an attorney. can i take care of this with out a lawyer?

You can file a mmotion to end the CS. Since both are in agreement you don't need an attorney.

thankyou for the advice. can you tell me how to go about filing the motion
you're going to have to speak to an attorney about that.

or, check your courthouse for a self help desk.

or read your local rules and civil procedures.
