What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TX (Case is now in Ohio)

EX has a warrant out for him (2 actually) for criminal non support. As I mentioned before, he works at a "ranch" and they keep the gate locked. The sheriff says a warrant cant be served on him unless I have a known place and time where he will be to get him picked up. The only time I know of is when he is picking up his and his wife's child at the bus at the end of the road. I'm not willing to do that with a child present...

The only other logical suggestion they made was to tell them where I think he will be at Christmas!

Would you do that?

Is there another option at this point?

Tell them where he will be. End of story. You want to be nice to him? He has warrants out for him.

One of the things I hated most was after I worked so hard to finally get warrants out on a non-paying parent the other parent backs down.

Backs down after calling my office once a week, demanding to know what I was doing to earn my salary, threatening to tell my supervisor I was not doing my job (knock yourself out - they're twice as overworked as we are).

If you don't want the financial help to support the child(ren), then drop the case altogether so the extremely limited resources can be used for those who need/want them.

HE'S the one doing this to those kids - not you.

I feel that way too, he brought this on himself. But I also have children with him, who have to listen to their grandparents (his parents) talk bad about me when they are around. How much worse would that be if I sent the authorities to his parents house on Christmas?

I hate that this has to be so hard, I do want him to be held responsible...
