What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Mississippi

I have a judgement on my credit report, the plaintiff is listed as Capital Formation, Inc. I have a copy of the abstract from the Circuit Clerk but there is no contact information for Capital Formation, Inc. and I cannot find anything on them on the internet.

This judgement was granted in July 2004 and I have never heard from Capital. I do not know what debt the judgement covers as I had several debts that were charged off during that period.

Does anyone know how to contact Capital. Is this my best course of action?

Your help is appreciated!

Thanks JETX for the info on Capital Formation.

If the company is dissolved, any suggestions on what action I should take to nullify the judgement and/or get this removed from the credit report?

You can't. The fact that the creditor is no longer 'alive' doesn't waive the judgment validity.
