What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

I was recently approved for SSDI after 5 years, only because I got a conversation recorded with a representative from my Congressmans office that my disability was basically being denied because I had another form of retirement (which is illegal). Because of this, my mental and physical health suffered MUCH more than had I received the help I paid and qualified for. Would this be worth pursuing in a federal court for abuse of govt power?

Hmmmm

Congressman did his job? Oh that's right...lying and covering up abuse of power is part of govt employment. And the reason they do it on a regular basis? People like you....
And you forgot to tell me to get over my physical suffering also...

If your situation involed a blatantly unlawful action by the feds, you should have no problem getting attorneys to line up to take your case. So, start consulting attorneys and see what they have to say. I suspect it is not as clear cut as you would like to think it is.
