Maybe because these ones act like they got a quota to make. I mean they gave me an mip and then later said "oh whoops, we don't really have any evidence". I think that if I was in an accident and someone smashed my tail light, they'd probably show up and give me a ticket for having a busted tail light.

well s***, we're not perfect.

does informal probation end up on a record?
First, Carl is probably the nicest guy here. Look at it this way, he probably burned an hour of his time answering every one of your questions in detail. He gave you the time and answers an attorney would have charged you $500 for.

You owe him respect... not some bizarre "the man is out to get me" theory of the world created by underage drinkers. "nice way to over react, cop" is no way to answer the man that is trying to find out enough to help you.

If he was going to over react, he would have done it an hour ago.

Lighten up, sparky.

Second, of course informal probation ends up on your record.

Don't break the law and it won't be a problem. It really is not that hard.

But, we do have control over our actions.

If as a result of a conviction, yes. The conviction would end up on the record.

Cdwjava/Carl - That wasn't meant to be directed at you. I'm sorry if it sounded that way or if you took it that way. I can see how it could've.

not some bizarre
I don't think it's that bizarre.

Oh, of course. Carl probably is the nicest guy here.

So not if it's a result of some pre-court thing (I don't know the words)? My friend's attitude is still **** 'em so....I don't know if his parents plan on trying to change his mind. Would you encourage him to say yeah, I was drunk in public based on what I said?

Thank you for your time. (i'm not being sarcastic)
