Her 3.8 GPA doesn't mean squat in real life. She's probably skating through easy classes where nothing is required of her except to show up. The ONLY time something's been required of her, daddy bails her out. The sad thing is the only lessons she's learning from you is how to be a snob and that rules don't apply to her.@cyjeff, didn't come here looking for sympathy. Came here looking for legal information. Also permanent record do not really mean anything. It is more of teachers scare tactic than anything else.
@cdwjava, she is 3.8 gpa student so i really am not worry about it
@cbj, students job is go to school and learn and not do janitor job such cleaning table, sweeping floor, mopping. This is not Japan, Mexico, German etc where it's normal for student to do such thing.
I assure you that her discipline record is a real and valid document that will follow her.@cyjeff, didn't come here looking for sympathy. Came here looking for legal information. Also permanent record do not really mean anything. It is more of teachers scare tactic than anything else.
That is just racist.@cbj, students job is go to school and learn and not do janitor job such cleaning table, sweeping floor, mopping. This is not Japan, Mexico, German etc where it's normal for student to do such thing.
Said it before, will say it again. A 3.8 isn't all that impressive these days. Not with Honors and AP classes that pull 5.0 and 6.0 credits, respectively.she is 3.8 gpa student
Also, she was German. The maid didn't even have a B average in high school!
Also, she was German.
Is that so? Last time I checked janitors get paid to clean. So yes it is in their job descrption. In actual fact, it is *not* "the janitor's job* to clean up. It is the job of anyone the school decides to assign to the task.
The issue with ths school being resolved, she got regulator detention as i posted before(posting again in case some people missed it the first time). Also asking someone to do cleaning that is not trained is asking for trouble. It is not controlled as child labor because it is not considered to be labor, as in a job. It is simply part of the school experience. The purpose is not to exploit them as labor. It is to teach them there are rules and when you break the rules, there are consequences.
If you have such a problem with your children doing manual labor, then refuse to allow your kids to do the manual labor but you will eventually be faced with a punishment you cannot refuse to allow. After this, there would probably be detention, suspension, or expulsion.
I'll tell you what. Why not just ignore everything you have been told here and call the department of labor and file a complaint of violations of the child labor laws. See how far that gets you.
and why would you have your children clean up when you have a maid?
So they learn a little responsibility for themselves. So they have respect for what it means to do a little manual labor and to learn why they need to make a serious effort in school so they are not limited to manual labor jobs in their future.
