What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NH

My daughter was arrested for shoplifting an $80 purse @ Macys in NH. this is the first time that she has been arrested for anything. The information we were given was that she is delinquent for shoplifting... Class B Misdemeanor. What does this mean? What can she/I expect when we got to court this Thursday? Please help me out here. :( I am worried. Thank you. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

You might also want to have your daughter start working to pay off the civil demand you will be receiving in the mail. Count on it being at least a few hundred dollars.

There is a lot she can do: wash cars, walk dogs, yard work ~ you get the drift. ;)
