What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Massachusetts

If a juvenile is charged with bb gun possession, bb gun discharge, and wanton destruction of property but didn't do any destruction, (the other 2 kids did and will admit this) should we get a public defender? This is a first offense and I'm not familiar with the court system. Will they even ask at court or will it just be all considered one crime and he has to plead guilty or not guilty to all?

The juvenile should get an attorney. If the juvenile was with the other 2 children then he is just as guilty as they are.
