What is the name of your state NEBRASKA

MY EX HUSBAND TOLD ME TODAY THAT HE WANTS TO SIGN AWAY HIS PARENTAL RIGHTS. HE WAS ABSENT FROM HER LIFE AFTER OUR DIVORCE UNTIL 2YRS AGO. WENT TO COURT THEY SET A NEW VISITATION SCHEDULE. AND HE STILL DOES NOT SEE HER LIKE HE SHOULD..BUT ON THE OTHER HAND SHE DOESN'T KNOW HIM AND SEEMS TO HAVE NO INTEREST IN SPENDING TIME WITH HIM. WITH HIM SUM WHAT IN THE PICTURE NOW HAS REALLY MADE IT HARD FOR HER. CREATED CONFUSION AND A EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER. HE DOES NOT PUT FORTH THE EFFORT TO BE A FATHER TO HER. I HAVE HOPED FOR HIM TO SIGN AWAY HIS RIGHTS FOR MANY YEARS...BUT NOW THAT HE WANTS TO I HAVE MIXED FEELINGS ABOUT IT. HE NEVER HAS PAID HIS CHILD SUPPORT LIKE HE SHOULD UNTIL RECENTLY THE STATE HAS FOUND HIM AND IS GARNISHING HIS WAGES. I THINK THAT THE REASON HE WANTS TO SIGN AWAY HIS RIGHTS IS TO AVOID HAVING TO PAY. BUT MAYBE ITS BECAUSE HE CAN SEE HOW SHE DOESN'T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH HIM. IDK! WHAT DOES IT MEAN IF HE DOES? IN NEBRASKA WHAT ARE THE LAWS? HOW DO WE DO IT?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

No court will allow your boyfriend to adopt your child. And unless NE is one of the (few) states that allow a TPR w/o adoption, your ex cannot terminate his rights.

LOL!! Yeah...Same thing I said when I read Nit's post...Check out her posting history.
I am thinking that part of the "wierdness" of her posts is that english is her second language. I could be wrong, but the way that she words things make me think that's the case.
