I agree with Searchertwin, if there was a clause, you seemed angry enough to find something in lease that would help you. So, there was no clause. You are only saying that so you don't look like a fool because Searchertwin had you pegged.

I don't see how she failed in response. One, she agreed with HomeGuru, that it is still a one bedroom apartment. You need to pay rent.

Number two, she agreed with Hot Topic said it depended on the snow to melt before they can locate the leaks.

Number three, she said the Landlord came within a reasonable time frame in a reply that you yourself said in one of your post.

Number four, her answer was can the Landlord make necessary repairs within a reasonable time, yes, but there are unforseen circumstances, and this is one, build up of snow, this go with the same reply that BL gave, As a side note: Eastern US was hit good with a good amount of snowfall .”

Number five, her reply to how long is reasonable for repairs, she said, As long as it takes for snow to melt, no more bad weather, LL finding a contractor and contractor schedules to do the work. As long as the LL is making the attempt he is doing everything within reason.

So she had given you sound advice, how you chose to take it is your downfall of stupidity as Debt Collector said, Actually, George, I think we'd just rather you go away. Your dedication to ignorance is bordering on stupidity and your attacks on people who attempted to help you really made you look like an butt.

And yet despite your troll posts...I've been granted rent escrow...

Thanks, Debt Collector and Justifer, for trying to show that he wasn't listening to sound advice. I give up
Seriously...what do you folks do for a living? Oh wait...are these sock puppet posts? ;)

FYI --Because the LL failed to show for repairs at promised date this week and then fumbled and bumbled with more excuses, I've been granted rent escrow. That took waiting all of three hours.

And my non-existent lease clause is shortly to result in about a 30% rent decrease for each day this has gone on and continues to go on....

That's why there are laws and courts...and not losers who troll legal forums.:D
