What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

For the last month when I drop my daughter off at school my ex's wife is there watching me to make sure I get my daughter to school safely. I have about a 35-45 minute commute depending on traffic so sometimes we arrive a little early and we either go get something to eat or sit and wait for the right time for drop off.

I have gotten several emails from ex and his wife that accuse me of dropping her off early so now they feel they need to watch me. In the emails they say that they have several witnesses that watch me drop her off early and that I cannot be trusted to properly drop her off so they will be watching me or they have "backup" people at the school to watch me. I have been dropping my daughter off for 4 years now.

Is this harrassment?

I do not drop her off early but they will see me and daughter waiting in the car sometimes. I now just go get something to eat if we arrive early.

I also have many many emails yelling at me and telling me that they don't want me to come to school activities the last email telling me this was last Thursday.

Yesterday was a field trip that my daughter wanted me to go on with her and had me fill out the form and give money for her and me to go. When I got there yesterday morning the teacher said to me that she did not know how to tell me this but my daughter wasn't coming to school today and won't be going so the teacher sent me home. My ex and his wife had called her out of school with no reason.

My ex and his wife showed up at the venue with my daughter. I am glad for my daughter that she got to go but they did this on purpose so I would be turned away. Is there anything I can do? I did not go to the Valentines party because they sent me so many nasty emails and now this.

That is about as nasty and manipulative as it gets...and a bit creepy too...however I am not sure that its contempt of court.

I would consult a local attorney to get an idea of what type of action you could take.

However, I would not allow them to keep you away from activities at your child's school. I would simply show up. Don't give them any warning so that they can pull the child out of school for the day or not show up for the activity.
