I was with my use to be bestfriend at the mall. He wanted a sweater but need $5 dollars which i didnt have because I had to pay for a party and food. I tried to take it for him since he has always looked out for me so i wanted to do the same. I have no previous arrests or anything on my record. I was arrested for my first time...What can hapen to me if this is my first offence?

Hope the sweater was worth you forever being a thief. You can be put on probation, given community service and fined. You can and most likely also will receive a civil demand. You will most likely be banned from the mall for life. And definitely from the store. You will find getting jobs in retail or in other places that deal with money extremely difficult. Should I continue?

I hope that is not the case. Im not a bad kid. i have good grades and im a student ambassador expected to go to japan in the summer. I jsut want this dumb mistake to mess up everythingg ive worked for

I wouldn't plan on going to Japan. Stupid mistake or not, you committed a crime. That's really not the sort of kid these groups want representing their country. Sorry.

Let me guess, People to People?

My daughter's made up Internet name gets nominated to be a People to People ambassador due to her exceptional life, and that persona doesn't exist in real life.
