What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York

I was issued a ticket for no seat belt. The ticket is missing the expiration date of my vehicle registration. I was under the impression that all fields of the ticket should be filled out correctly or the ticket can be considered invalid. Anyone????

New York Parking tickets dot com

Hi...There is a web site for NY tickets that states all info must be correct on the ticket. If any info is incorrect or missing the ticket is invalid. I can barely read the ticket, but I cann see that the Vehicle Reg section is crossed out

Tell you what: you have nothing to lose by trying to fight the ticket on those grounds. My only advice is to not be disappointed if you lose and have to pay the original fine.

NY Parking Tickets says that a set belt ticket (which, as far as I know, is not given to people who are parked), is required to be 100% correct or else it must be dismissed?

I hope you didn't pay that site any money.

Not all information on a summons is particularly meaningful. In your case the expiration date of the registration is not a reason to get the charge dismissed.
