:confused: i live in louisiana and am adopted. im seventeen and i want to live with my biological mother in texas....is there anything my foster parents can do to stop me from leaving??

As long as you are a minor child, then yes, they can stop you and use the law to do so.

If your friend assists you in crossing the state lines, they will be looking at federal charges.

Your biological mother has no say in where you live, what you do or any other aspect of your life.

Your parents... your adoptive parents... have all the cards.
