What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? texas

My son has, over the course of two years, exhibited sexual agression of varying degrees towards girls of his own age and younger, particually recently a 9 y/o daughter of a friend. It started off at 11 years old with him looking at porn on his mothers computer ( he got up during the night ) we have since set up parental controls ( we werent ready for this behaviour - at such a young age, nieve of us i know) His behaviour has steadily got worse, we would find letters he had wrote detailing what he wanted to do with girls, detailing in list form how he wanted them to strip etc etc getting more explicit as the list went on. These letters were found on numerous occasions. When confronted and asked to explain , the answer "dont know" was always his choice. Recently, he has been stealing money from home, he set a seat on fire in the car, he has had in school suspension on 5 occasions for sexual harassment ( each occasion he harrased a girl then touched them on their butt ) he constantly lies, and the incident that brings me to the point im at now, we have found a letter in which he lists in detail what he is going to do to our friends 9 y/o. Frankly, its disgusting.

We have asked him if he has been abused (not that bluntley of course) we have all but taken away his privillages. We supervise him at all times now, we just cant trust him.

I am so worried he is going to assault a young girl, but it seems the only real help out there is if he actually is convicted of a crime. He sees the school councilor, we have asked for help many times, we even tried to get the school to press charges for the touching, figuring it would be better in the long for him to be in the system as it were for this, rather than assault or even rape. please help

It is good that you are reaching out. He needs therapy either by or overseen by a psychiatrist (with the MD).

Do you have other children in the home?

I find this particularly disturbing. It raises questions about the parenting involved with this child. I am not accusing you, but this will obviously come into question.

You do not want your child to go to prison. They call them "correctional faucilities" but I assure you it has very little to do with correction.

I would hope that the Father can spend a lot more time with his son and help him to understand the nature of sexuality, and his sons role as a man and a potential father himself some day. A Father should make it clear that the women in pornography are somebodys daughters and mothers too. And they are being degraded, demoralised, and abused. They are no longer dignified men and women. Instead they act like dogs in an alley some where doing what animals do.
I would bring his manhood into question and have a very lengthy and serious conversation about what an example of a real man is. Help him rise to the standard. As a Father, I would get much more involved with my son and his personal life even if it meant living in poverty. Even if it meant there could not be two chickens in every pot and a nice car in the garage so long as I have an opportunity to teach my son how to be a good man. A real man would never pervert love or his nature by writing out disgusting letters and indulging in pornography. He would always treat himself and others around him with respect... I would not accuse him in a way that will necassarily upset him as though he is truly sinister... But I would point out that the world can be a sinister place and would want him to follow suite. It is his responsibility to act in accordance with his conscience, what is good, right, and just. This is all a big part of being a man. There is a very real possibility that if he continues to act like an animal, he will be caged like one and his life will become a living hell.
