What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana
I listed something on craigslist and someone wanted to buy it. Well thats all fine and dandy and I told them I would sell it to them. BUT, then they said they lived in Nigeria and they wanted to pay via paypal. I did get an email conformation but I received no conformation on paypal.com itself. I told them I was backing out and they said the payment was already effective and I am obligated to send them the product. I did not confirm/accept any payment so as far as I'm aware, I am obligated to nothing...right? I have signed no contracts of any sort either.
Thanks in advanceWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

So, even AFTER asking us, you went through with it? ( https://forum.freeadvice.com/online-purchases-sales-87/possible-craigs-list-scam-516231.html )

Why should we offer any more advice?
