What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Oregon
We have two teenagers ages 16 and soon to be 18 that have become pregnant. My question is what are the laws about them being together after the one turns 18. Is is statutory rape or not?

i'm going to assume only ONE of those two teens are pregnant. who's the 18 year old? the potential father?

That is irrelevent to the law.

The age of consent in OR is 18 so yes, charges are a possibility against the adult...and not unheard of either. Especially if the minor's parents push it.

I'm sorry, I dont know. If that is possible, which I tend to doubt.. but never know.. that would be a civil action and I have little experience there..and have no idea of your state laws. i am speaking in general terms of age of consent laws.

I'm going to say that since they are so close in age, the judge will order the paternity, child support and set up the custody and visitation, without getting into statutory rape matters.

If thats what you are asking.
