I have a question if you can answer it or guide me to someone who can. In our case the petitioner is listed as George Perry Director Pitt County DSS but the verification is done by a social worker. Most Counties that I have called have stated that the petition is not valid due to whoever is named as the petitioner must verify it. Otherwise if the petitioner had just been listed as the Pitt County DSS then anyone could have verified it. The appeals Courts have also stated the same. I need an opinion on that. If the petition was not verified correctly then it and all orders are void. Thanks.
