What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

I live in Texas but will do remote work with a business that is located in New York. All work will be by remote access to their computer system. I will never work on-site. Will I be required to file New York state income tax? Thanks

No, however you will need to make certain that your employer doesn't inadvertantly withhold NY state income tax. Otherwise it could be difficult to get your withholding back.
