What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

I just had a enforcement hearing for unreimbursed medical expenses and Dad not having health insurance for our son. At the meeting with the enforcement officer, it was determined that I am owed $3690. Dad offered to pay an additional $50 per month. I said no because that would take over 6 years to pay off expenses that accrued over two years. And also because I knew I would be back next year for the same thing. I always have to take him for enforcement because he never pays on his own.

Since we didn't agree, we go in front of a judge on 6/29. Dad and I don't get along nor communicate well. But the officer suggested that we try to come to an agreement before hand.

Was I unreasonable for not taking the $50 offer? The main reason I said no is because since he dropped coverage on our son, I no longer have two insurances covering his medical costs. So the brunt of the new bills is falling solely on me. I can't take 6 years to pay off bills I have piling up now.

What would be a reasonable offer?

Thanks in advance.

Depending on what his pay is, you might get awarded LESS than $50 a month. You haven't provided enough information.

I currently receive $158 bi-weekly. He says that he brings home about $650 every two weeks and pays $750 a month in rent. He lives alone and has a16 year old daughter that he doesn't pay support towards. The last time he provided any proof of income was back in '04-'05, i think.

What other information is needed?
