Hey guys, new to the forum, and probably only time I'll be on here.
I'm 17, my father just passed away the other day and I have chosen to live with a friend.
My mother keeps saying she will take custody of me, and I will not live with her. To put it nicely her and I do not get along. Period. I have told her this but she keeps saying that I am a minor. Financially I can support myself if I kept my job, and I have my father's side relatives who can support me financially.
Another thing, how do I go about getting a hardship license? Since I will be living with a friend, obviously I will be trying to go to work. Unfortunately its under the table where I work, untaxed and all that. Would that be an issue when I applied? Or should I find a different job that is taxed?
