How do I get rid of a Injunction??

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

In May of 2000 when I was 18 my ex girlfriend filed a injuction against me. Although I had never hit her or threatened her and the Sheriffs department were never called because of any abuse or alleged abuse...the judge still put the injuction on me. A few years later I asked my ex why she put it on me and her reason was because her mom made her. If she didnt her mom was going to take her car from her and kick her out. Well since then I havent really thought about it much, and kinda have forgot about it until the other day when I went to go purchase a handgun. I was going to try to get my concealed weapons permit but this injunction is hampering my ability to obtain it. I have never had a felony conviction or never ever been in trouble for violence. I think this is unfair and unjust. How do I go about getting rid of this injunction so I can legally purchase and own a firearm. Any info would be great. Thanks.

I'm sure something that happened in 2000 really had something to do with me running from the law in 2010. Lets get real. As of now I'm no longer running from the law and everything is taken care of. What were you thrown in jail for in 2010? (You never did say what it was you were on probation for.)

About your girlfriend: Are you saying you never went to court on that?

I was on probation for attempted falsification to a pawnbroker. And thats not the reason I cant get the concealed weapons permit or own a gun. I have a injunction from 2000 that is causing the issues. Please if you cant answer my question or give me some kind of advice regarding my question then please dont say anything. Like I said I have never been convicted of a felony and only one misdemeanor. Thanks.

I still don't understand what you're saying here.

Are you saying you went to court and, even though there was NO evidence, the judge slapped an injunction on you even though your girlfriend didn't want it?

What did you say when you testified?

Oh no, at the time I was with this girl back in 2000 and I went to court over this, she told the judge that I constantly called and harressed her. She didnt have no evidence of this but I provided phone records showing the opposite. I showed the court that she called me non-stop. Not only that she came alone with no witnesses. I brought my mom, a friend of mine, and a mutual friend of ours as a witness for me and to tell the judge that she was the one causing the problems and always calling me. But since she was the one that filed I guess, then I guess thats why the judge issued the injunction.
