Wow it's amazing how you people think and i have mistakes in my posts beacause i don't really want to take my time in this place with people like this to write correctly because they just find a way to try and irritate and not working so far. SECOND, he doesn't think that, i was the one who told him when he gave me an engagement ring that as soon as we got married i would file for him to be HERE legally. And yes americans well i'm not going to generalize like you, MOST are lazy and are living off of ssc or "disabilities" or Retirement which means by the time i'm old all the hard work will be for nothing because there will be NOTHING left. You get me? He did not commit a crime he came to the us at age 16 to work because his mother was diagnosed with cancer and they needed money. You call that a crime?? Please, people here rap, steal, murder, abuse, sell drugs and do all sorts of stuff and get away with it without being called a "CRIMINAL". Honestly i don't know what my future looks like but why do you people have to be so hateful? I just asked for advice not insults and all this. My boyfriend just came to work, he hasn't done any bad to other people he doesn't drink, smoke or any of that stuff. I don't hate americans i don't hate anybody. Just think about it how often do you see an american as a dishwasher at a restaurant? or working in the hot sun or cold nights in contruction? If i was to get pregnant that's up to me i will make something good out of myself my mom is a single mother. I get all this from my education maybe not the best according to this but if i was ever to be "dumped" i would struggle of course but overcome it. I understand what all of you mean but i don't like how you seem to set up your insults towards him and me please stop.

If you don't think the responders here are deserving of the amount of respect from you that it would take to type properly and make your message clear, why should we respect you enough to answer in the way you think you should be answered? The responders here are volunteers doing this on their own time when they get a chance; they do not get paid a penny for answering YOUR questions or doing YOUR research. If you can't even be bothered to type correctly and use proper spelling and grammar, why should anyone here bother with you?

And the whole point is, when it's for free - YOU don't get to dictate who responds or how. You want someone to hold your hand and talk all nicey-nicey to you, you can pay for the privilege. As long as you're looking for volunteers to give up their time to answer you, you can take the opinions as well as the advice.

Unfortunately she didn't want to hear the legal truth about the situation.

She wants to sit and debate why her boyfriend's case is special and unique and hence he shouldn't be subject to the same laws as everyone else.

But since I'm here anyway I'll recap:

Your boyfriend, OP, entered the country without inspection (illegally).

This means that he cannot adjust his status from inside the US - period. Even if.

He will have to return to Mexico.

Take your birth control religiously.

Go to college, complete your education, get a job and establish yourself here.

Meantime, send boyfriend back to mexico and start the process of applying to allow him to re-enter legally. By the time you finish school and have a job and can afford to sponsor him, you should have approval.

If you are truly meant to be together, he will wait for you and you for him. If you are like MOST people of your age, one or both of you will meet someone else and want to break up. Don't leave the country to be with him, putting your education and future on hold because he decided the laws did not apply to him just because he was young and needed money. And for god's sake, don't get pregnant, don't continue the cycle of illegal parents who have kids way too young and end up living in poverty. Grow up first.
