Bullying in schools

Hi i live in Florida. My step son was being bullied on the bus. They were telling him to bring liquar on the bus and if he didnt they were going to have him beat up. So he was scared and did what they said. When I contacted the school about what was being done they kicked him out of school for 10 days and the other kids only got a few days. my step son has been bullied since last year and his school is doing nothing about it. what can i do to make sure he doesnt get hurt
