My question involves criminal law for the state of: Puerto Rico
I was caught stealing in Costco when I was in 7th - 8th grade. It was a PSP game. They couldn't find the price of it because it was in a bundle so I think the value they put that I stole was the bundle price. All I really remember was that I had to sign multiple papers and that's it. I am not sure if the police came after, but I think my family lied to me when they said they did while I was in school just to learn my lesson. They told me that if the price was a little higher that the police would come to my house and search. Even after the incident, I've gone back to Costco.

I am here today to ask whether this is in my criminal record because I am currently finishing my college applications and some of them ask about whether I have any criminal record. I moved to Texas after 9th grade. Will colleges/businesses be able to see it? Will I have a clean record after I turn 18? Will it affect me in any way in the future?
