expulsion what do i do

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? new mexico

my doughter got expelled form all schools in the state of new mexico, it was because she took some vitamins to school and tried to sell them but she got cought she was not the only one there where 3 other kids too but she got the wort punishment out of all them.

she got expelled 2/28/10 to 2/28/11 but we need to get her back in toschool is there some way i can get the expulsion removed or fight this...:confused::confused:

Normally, I would recommend home-schooling...but not in this case. You should place her in private school.

I couldn't agree more.

OP, I'm a tad bit in misbelief your daughter got expelled for selling just plain old vitamins. Was she selling the "vitamins" as a pretense of drugs? Or was that the story she gave you?

School suspensions are scrutinized under the Due Process Clause of the 14th Amendment.

If you have concerns of a Constitutional violation, consult private Counsel or appeal as per the School Board Rules allow.

At this point, there are only 4 months left to her expulsion. I'd likely fall on the mercy of the school district to allow her in at the start of the next semester, if that is before 2/28/11. And make sure she knows she'll be going to summer school next summer.
