I live in California and I need some information on a situation I find myself in. My 15 year old sister is pregnant by a 14 year old boy. My question is, does my mother have the right to keep the 14 year old father away from my sister and her child?

Mom can absolutely keep him away from your sister.

Once the child is born he can file to establish paternity etc., and while your Mom cannot stop him from seeing HIS child, she can still stop him from having access to your sister which amounts to the same thing.

That is not true. There is no reason the father of the child can't visit with his child.

On a practical level, Mom can get a restraining order against Dad preventing him from having any contact with her daughter. This doesn't preclude Dad from having someone else pick up/drop off the baby though; I should have been clearer.

Brain fog.

In California, R/O's can exclude the peaceful contact for purposes of child exchanges...

Yes, mom and dad can deny visitation to the girl - especially prior to the baby being born. After the baby is born, they can still deny the father coming over until paternity is established, and even then a court order for visitation may be required. Remember, the baby mama is a minor and mom and dad can restrict who their minor child sees. In fact, one or both children can be prosecuted for conceiving this child - usually it will be the boy because of the way the law is written.
