What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? VIRGINIA HI I NEED SOME ADVICE PLEASE. MY KIDS DAD OWES 45,000 IN CHILD SUPPORT. WE WENT TO COURT LAST YEAR HE WAS FOUND CONTEMPT.HE SAID HIS JOB WAS SLOW.SO THEY PUT HIM IN SOME KIND OF PROGRAM TO HELP HIM GET HIS LICENSE BACK WHICH WAS SUSPENDED DUE TO CHILD SUPPORT. OK FOR THE PAST YEAR HE HAS BEEN WORKING 6 DAYS A WEEK,AND HE WAS ORDERED TO PAY 523 A MONTH. BUT HE PAYS 100 OR 200 SOME MONTHS.I KNOW HE MAKES MORE MONEY.AND THE DEBT IS GETTING HIGHER.I HAVE CHILD SUPPORT LAWYERS BUT THEY ARE NOT DOING AS WELL AS I THOUGHT THEY WOULD.WE HAVE TO GO BACK TO COURT IN JANUARY. MY KIDS NEED MORE WHAT SHOULD I DO.

Most members won't help someone who appears to be yelling.

You can not yell at us, for one thing (typing in all caps is considered shouting) :)

The reality is that sometimes you just cannot force an NCP to pay their child support.

If you have attorneys and/or CSE working on the case, there's really nothing else you can do except keep tabs on what they're doing and make sure they don't "forget".

If you're struggling financially - and this is nothing to do with what's fair and just - you may need to consider downsizing and/or getting a second or third job.

Eh, I have That Rotten Cold thing that's going around. My state of misery requires me to be nice to others just to make sure I'm not a COMPLETELY miserable wretch! ;) :D

Me three! Seems like everyone is sick right now. I was doing so good, then had to take my son to 4 different doctors last week and must have picked it up at one of them. The waiting rooms were full of coughing, sneezing people. Thankfully my son seems to be escaping it for now. Vitamin C tablets work wonders too.
