The management company was notified of the snow, or of the injury?

And, prior injuries due to snow falling off of the roof does NOT equate to negligence for THIS incident.

it puts them on notice that when it snows, there is a problem with it falling onto people. Failure to deal with the known problem can be seen as negligence.

Obviously it is all subject to argument and demands for proof.
