What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Wisconsin
When my brother was 10 years old, he was molested by our landlord's son. Not only did my parents not report the guy to the police, but they stayed on the landlord's property for 8 months. What kind of laws did they break? Could they be charged as accessories?

OP. I would seriously suggest that you look into counseling for yourself so that you can begin moving on from your issues with your parents.

This issue with my brother is just the tip of the iceberg. But no one is answering the actual question of legal responsibility:(

Not reporting a crime is not being an accessory. Had this come to light (if it could be proven to have occurred) it might have led to a child neglect charge against the parents, but now? Since he is an adult, I suspect that the SOL has passed.

Have you and your brother sought therapy for these issues you have with your parents? Time to move on and move ahead.

Additionally, given that YOU were also a child at the time, you were likely not privy to all of the details and really do not know what your parents may or may not have done.

Seriously - you need mental health services.

Actually, I do know that my parents never contacted the authorities, since I recently asked them about it. And I can't speak for my brother, but if I could afford it I would be in counseling for sure :(
