:confused:What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

I have been notified by an unconfirmed source that my daughter's father's girlfriend is in a gang, and HE is ok with her being in a gang.
He doesn't know that I know. (yet)
As far as he has told me, our daughter has been around her and daughter likes her, and his girlfriend likes her. Though I feel like that is besides the point, She is in a gang( and I was forwarded a conversation the they were having. Stating him asking her if she was in gang, and he said he wouldn't be mad or care if she was, he just wanted to know. She replied.)
I strongly believe it is not safe for our daughter. Which I should say my daughter, since he doesn't seem to think anything of it. I feel like all of this going on now, is him being an immature father. Putting his daughter in harms way, because his girlfriend is in gang, and he doesn't mind, and it doesn't bother him at all.
I want to take this to court. Question is. How likely is it that the judge is going to take this seriously, with no proof other than an email convo that "says" she is.
Would or could it terminate parental rights or vistation?
A little additional information. He HAS told ME , that his girlfriend was in jail for something, but he didn't say what, though he did say she has a parole officer.
PLEASE HELP!! :(

It would not terminate parental rights or visitation. The most you could hope for is that the judge will order that the girlfriend cannot be present in dad's home when the child is present.

Sigh. As we tell everyone else who has this kind of question (why no, it is not new or unique) - you need P.R.O.O.F. And that does not include someone, somewhere telling you they may have possibly overheard someone else say that she might maybe be in a gang of some sort.

And regardless what you think of Dad? He is STILL your daughter's father and she is *his* daughter, too. NOT just yours.

Terminating a father's rigths over an assumption is not going to happen ~ in this world or any other.

I disagree. I have been hearing stories that some extra-solar planets have laws that are VASTLY different than ours. Of course, we don't have to worry about that, as this is a US Law forum ;)
