what is the difference between a DUI defense attorney asking $1500 vs. one who asks $2500? I was told by an attorney charging $2500 that I should hire him ASAP (since if I did he may be able to get me a DMV hearing, even though I did not request one after some bad advice from a DMV employee) and that the cheaper guy would not fight for me. Is this true or just high pressure selling? What is the name of the rating system for lawyers? Something dale? (just the 1st part of the word)

Why don't you get a few referrals from both lawyers if possible. Look up their ******dale rating. You only have 10 days to get a DMV hearing, so depending on when you were arrested it may be a mute point.

Then again, as the old saying goes "You get what you pay for.".

that would be m*a*r*t*i*n*dale, without all the *s. This forum edits out that word for very good reasons.
