Can I have my record expunged and still work in the medical field?

In California what are the restrictions on having your criminal record expunged? I have a couple serious misdeamor offences but am actually a very normal, hard working person who wants to be a Physical Therapist, and college dance instructor. If I am able to get my record expunged (on which there are 2 of the same offence) what will my record look like when people do a background check using fingerprints?

It would appear that you have little chance of getting your record expunged at this time:

You'll first have to complete your probation or request an early termination of probation (which would likely be denied), then request the expungement.

Ok, well can I get it expunged later if I pay of the fines and complete my probation or does the repeat offense thing mess up my chances? This statement from that website you linked is ambiguous: "You have no current charges pending, nor has any court PLACED YOU ON PROBATION FOR ANOTHER OFFENSE.

Also do you know what these penal Code are: section 286(c), 288, 288a(c), 288.5, or 289(j)?

Lastly what is an infraction?

Thanks so much!

Seems to me that you don't learn. Dismissal, as outlined, is designed for people who did a bad thing, but then learned not to do bad things. (Yes, that's a very simplistic way of saying it.)

You don't know me buddy, nor do you know what happened to me. Do you get on here to put judgements on people? I mean, you're not even an attorney so I'm not sure why you feel the need to give legal advice.
