What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Rapture

At what age can a child decide he doesn't want to go to his Father's house?

My child is a teenager who doesn't even know what his Father looks like.

If it matters, The Father has lots of children with other mothers. I've lost count. Isn't there some law that says every child must have a separate room at His house, otherwise they don't have to go?

Please answer before 6:00pm.

I kept waiting for a "Do I have to send the children to their father's house @ 6pm on Saturday like the order says? The Prophet has decreed there will be earthquakes happening then and I don't want to be out driving."

Or

"My ex doesn't believe in the Rapture, and I'm afraid of what will happen to the children if they're with him and he's unprepared."

I've been sorely disappointed.

Why in the HELL can no one on this site use the search function?

I mean, really... do you really think that your child and situation are SO unique that your question has never been asked before? That is wasn't asked TODAY?

In a friggin' nutshell...

A court order tells you what to do. You don't get to choose. Neither does your kid until said kid is 18. Even if it makes him/her all pouty.

Nope, no private room required.

If you didn't want your kid to have a dad with an awful lot of other kids, I guess you should have been a little more selective in the process.

But The Father and I never went to court. We had a private agreement. Are you saying that it isn't enforceable? What if it was notarized?

As far as being more selective, I met Him when I was very young. In fact, my parents pushed me into it. I didn't learn about His other children until much later.

Doesn't his Father's house have many rooms though?

Oh, and I forgot to mention it but The Father has been accused in the past of abandonment, neglect and even obstruction. Does that help?

I have no earthly idea how many rooms his Father's house has or doesn't have. He said something about preparing a place for everyone, but I'm not so sure.

Do I have the right to go there and check His place out before I make my child go?

Nope. However, unless your agreement was signed by a judge, it isn't a court order and you're under no obligation.

But I'm curious about something... Dad has all these kids by different women. How many of your children (nine, according to your profile) have the same father? What's good for the goose is good for the gander, sweets.

Yes, actually, all nine of the children referenced in my profile have the same father, thank you very much. If you don't know me, then you shouldn't ASSume.

Look, I came here for advice, not to be judged. OMG! You sound just like Him.

I didn't assume - I asked. So... do the other eight know what Dad looks like? Or is the 15yo the only one?

Perhaps I am. ;)

If he doesn't know what his father looks like how is this an issue? Did his father recently file for visitation and win?

If you wait until 6 to prepare, you're too late. I'm waiting to hear from my oldest where we should plan on meeting. I suspect I know, but...
