To Pay or Not To Pay? -- THAT Is the Question - And, How Much??

1. get a copy of "DELAY, DENY, DEFEND - Why Ins Co Dont Pay Claims and What You Can Do About It." by Jay M. Feinman it. Most folks on this board including agents, lawyers and others should read it too!
2. Ins Co, attys, adjusters, property owners, contractors --- et al, are all governed by one thing: the current POLICY in force. Everyone involved in a dispute of any type regarding the coverage, settlment, process and such will START with the Ins policy in force at the time of the loss(es).
3. Public Adjusters provide a valuable service to the public. Some states grant licensing while others don't. I am licensed Maryland. Btw, Virginia does not recognize public adjusters. We do NOT work for the Ins company.
