What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? oregon.please.anyone with legal advice.desperayely needed.on may 26 of this year left my 15 year old daughters bf alone in my home.he rummaged through my dresser and found my husbands prescription methadone.he overdosed and almost died.during this time his parents blamed my daughter.i told her to be understanding/they almost lost their son.he was in a coma for 3 or 4 days.when he came out of it he admitted to stealing the meds.they wouldnt listen ND NO CONTACY ORDERS WERE put on them.they ran away together and were caught 4 days later.sincr than my daughyer has been interogated by police put on security cell allowed no phone calls to us.been threatened with lie detector tests which she welcomed but the police never followed through.the boy is also locked up and also told probation and law enforcemeny he stole the meds.no one will listen.my daughter is through tribal court and has no right to free attorney.pltase help us.What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

I don't believe any volunteers are familiar enough with tribal law to any degree where they can provide assistance.

You can absolutely pay for an attorney on her behalf.

She made a VERY big mistake in running off with him after the NCOs were put in place.

she absolutely did but does anyone remember being 15 and in love.she went through days of not knowing if he was going to live or die.he woke up from a coma wanting to see her.after lock up she was lied to by police.saying if she talked to them she would be released.that was last friday.tribal or not i believe cops and juvie are trying to coerce false confession as his father is a teacher.still desparate

..yeah, we've all been hormonal teenagers.

But that's where our parents stepped in. If there was actually a COURT ORDER saying we weren't allowed to be in touch with the object of our desires, most of us wouldn't actually go against it because..well..we had respect for the law.

The kids need attorneys.

And really parents? You gotta start parenting.

There IS a big difference between how State law works and how Tribal law works - so who is it exactly who is under Tribal jurisdiction?

Are you SURE this is a Tribal issue?
