Due to tornado damage, ins. adjusters says that the ceiling, roof, and all windows must be replaced. Without pulling any wallboard panels, says that wall beams and studs are OK.
Question: If during repairs, structural damage is discovered and the Ins. Co. decides to replace house. Will the cost of work previous to the discovery of the damage be deducted from the final settlement, or will the Ins. Co. be responsible for the complete payment?
