Hello about 2 months ago my girlfriend n I broke up..that's not why I'm asking wat I'm asking is that a yr ago my girlfriend got into an accident in my car n the person who hit her didn't have insurance. My girl sued in civil court n won 7,600 for damages..anyhow 4,700 was for my car. N now she's saying she's not gonna give me my money out of it since we broke up. Can I sue her for colecting on my property?

Nope. YOu should have sued the driver of the other car. How did your girlfriend have standing to sue for the damages to your car? Did you allow her to do so? Was she on title?

Ok here's the thing she was initually suing for injuries.. The judge asked about the car involved so i approched the bench..the judge ordered 3300 for injuries n 4700 for my car..i had my own civil case pending for the property damage but sence it was takin care of that day I dropped so there wouldnt be any fraud..now she's refusing to pay me for my car and is keeping the money. N no shes not on the title
