What is the name of your state (GA)?

I have hired an attorney for the uncontested divorce, the retainer fee is $2000.
I paid $1500 on the free consultation session and i was told that the rest can be paid at the case close.
The last invoice sent by the lay office shown they have charged $1400 for the services.
Now my wife and I decide not going for divorce.
I will contract to attorney to inform the decision.

Do I obligate the $500?

It depends on how the contract is worded, but probably not. Call the attorney's billing office to ask.
