What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Wisconsin. does it make a difference how far the non custodial parent lives from child when deciding custody arrangements>? Example: Would it make a difference if salad lived 10 minutes from kiddo as opposed to 45 minutes- to an hour away?

Ive been offered a transfer 10 minutes from kiddo!

Wow. You really lack common sense, don't you? Either that, or you are just a FA forum junkie looking for attention.

Yes, it obviously matters. However, it may not, by itself, be sufficient change of circumstances to re-open an existing custody order.

So what are the circumstances? Do you have an existing order? If so, what does it say with respect to custody and visitation?

Equally (or more) important, what would your ex say to a new custody arrangement where you might have a larger role?

Just a few days ago you asked us what you needed to do to give up and stop the custody case entirely.

In any case, parenting time would certainly be easier if you lived within 10 minutes of your child.

As long as spinny is around I recommend everyone buy stock in Sham Wows. You'll make a killing because we will need them all to mop up the malarky he continues to post.

Distance won't be a factor in YOUR case, Spinny, because YOU'RE going to have supervised visitation. And isn't the only supervision facility in YOUR community?
