I was surprised to see that my house is listed as SOLD in my bank's website with selling date May 27, 2011,when it has never even been listed for selling. I went to the bank and they told me that they receive all of the information from the city, and they also said that every bank and real estate company has our house listed as SOLD. We checked with the city but they said that in their records we are the last owners since 2004 and the mistake is somewhere else. The bank said that maybe the real estate company gave a wrong address, but where? Can we sue the real estate company for this mistake?

for what
?

maybe its listed as sold to make the market in her area better...

op isnt even selling her house, how is it damaging her life in any way.

now if she was selling, and it went sold on accident, maybe that would make a different story.
