What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Ohio.
I was stopped while walking home (alone) from the bars. I was given a ticket for disorderly conduct, which is an M1 where I was. (I had been drinking, but was not intoxicated)
I plead not guilty. At arraignment, was told by the prosecutor to come back...that he would run a file on me to see if I qualified for the diversion program.
Went back this week....sat there for 1 1/2 hours only to find out that they couldn't find my paperwork (had spelled my name wrong). They told me to come back in September (I will have to pay an attorney again, for their mistake)

Anyway, I was looking at the court docket and it shows the new arraignment date, entered on 8/25, but also show "motion to amend), by the prosecutor, on 8/25.
What does that mean?
(my attorney said he was going to try to see if he could get it dismissed...could that be it? ) I know...ask my attorney. (he is on vacation)

It likely means they're fixing the spelling error.
