What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA
Good afternoon, a friend has offered to let me stay in his apartment. I can't be put on the lease, but his landlord states as long as someone is in the apartment @ all times.
My concern is if we get into a disagreement & he wants to kick me out. My friend suggests we write & sign an agreement & have it notarized. Is this ok & what exactly should we put in writing? Thanks in advance.

yes thats ok.

I don't know what "as long as someone is in the apartment at all times" means.

rental/ sub rental agreements can be as simple as xxx lives at yyy and pays zzz.zz to AAA on the BB of the month for rent.

30 day notice required form either party to terminate this month to month sublease agreement, except for cases of non payment, in which case state law presides.
