I bought this house for 32grand from a structed settlement i got money out early. anyways at the time of signing paperwork me and my daughter were VERY ill. My boy friend I had been with nearing thrree years and is my daughters father has his name on bank account. So I came up with the great idea for him get all that done we will just switch it in few weeks. Well time went by 3 years and now we are spliting up. He will put my name back on the house but not take his off. This is money i recieved for a head injury. I was dependent on him and trusted him. I am trying take control now and NEED my house is my name. I do not know how to go about this. Please someone help. I am 24 he is 32 he has already done this with atruck also. When i went into hospital signed into his name and he was suposed to get insurance and tabs (because was in hospital on my bday and rest of week) then sign back into my name. i know I sound incredbly stupid but I really depended on him. Plus have problem trusting people to much I guess. PLEASE HELP!!

This is what happens when "great ideas" really aren't.

There is no way to force him to remove his name from the deed. When you put his name on it, you gave him your home.

In fact, there is no way to force him to put YOUR name on it.

You can get an attorney and attempt to sue him for the value, but you will have a very tough road.

One does not deed out an interest and then expect it to be deeded back. If you deed away an interest, that interest is no longer yours and you no longer control that interest.
