I am surprised nobody has asked what their incomes are, how many children, etc, to determine if the support is in line or not. It could be that OP needs to adjust his internal dialog as to how much support he should be paying.

we aren't child support calculators. usually the site gives some guidance as to the child support.

I just figure if it is ordered, then that was reasonable amount .

and it also stands to reason, if he sells her transportation out from under her, he would have to pay one way or another for being so spiteful, and selfish.

Oh I agree with you that what he plans to do is harmful, spiteful, selfish, etc.. and he could be paying more as a result. But the basis for his anger is that he feels the support he is ordered to pay is out of line. He says" She and her lawyer have filed for child support with the state and what they are asking for is not in line with my current income."

As evidenced by reading this forum for years, not everyone understands how child support works and how its calculated. If the support requested is within line - it would benefit the OP to hear that now, and have a chance to adjust to the idea, and tone down his anger.

And assuming the support requested is out of line - that may well not be what is ordered, and know that could help the OP too.
